Social Networking giant Facebook is moving to new format that they are calling Timeline. Some users have already made the change to the timeline format but over the next couple of weeks the move will be compulsory for all Facebook users. The Timeline layout gives a type of historical view of the user since joining the social network Facebook.
Some Facebook members are now scrambling to remove incriminating and embarrassing photos as they can possible land on the Timeline page which will be much easier for all to view. While all the information for the time line page comes directly from the existing Facebook page, many hidden images from the past may appear the new layout.
There was much confusion about when Timeline would permanently replace the current profile page, but Facebook confirmed the move in a blog post on Tuesday.
“Over the next few weeks, everyone will get timeline,” the post from Facebook engineer Paul McDonald said. “When you get timeline, you’ll have seven days to preview what’s there now. This gives you a chance to add or hide whatever you want before anyone else sees it.”
Facebook has not provided an exact date on which the changeover will take place.
There are many users already demanding to have the option for the Timeline display as they are not “liking” the new format.
What are your thoughts on the new timeline?

I changed mine over early then realised all my naughty shots where showing! Took a bit to figure out how to hide everything.
Not sure I like it but hey, we are stuck with it.
